Clinically proven to reduce colic

Randomised clinical trial was carried out to evaluate whether feeding bottle design affects "infant’s behaviour". One piece anti-colic valve system

As your baby feeds, the build-in unique skirt on the AVENT Nipple flexes to allow air into the bottle instead of baby’s tummy for better digestion. Like natural breastfeeding your baby controls the milk flow.

Shaped for stability and comfort

Innovative waisted shape bottles are easier to hold and the wide-neck design makes filling and cleaning easy without struggling to get the cleaning brush in. Clear markings on the bottle ensure accurate measurement and make it easier to determine how much baby has been fed.

 

Easier to combine breast and bottle feeding

Teat design promotes easy latch on and easy acceptance by baby. With ultra soft silicone teat which is gentle to baby’s sensitive gum, the odourless, tasteless and naturally shaped teat makes it easier to combine breast and bottle feeding. Supplied with slow flow silicone teats, (Teat No. 2), the silicone teats are interchangeable with teat/nipple of other speed. Six different nipple’s flow rates are available to fit your baby’s growing need.

Highly durable

For extra durability, these Advanced classic feeding bottles are made of Polyethersulfone (PES), a BPA Free (0% Bisphenol A) extremely durable material with a natural golden or honey coloured tint. It is heat-resistant, stain-resistant and impact resistant. Bottles made of this material are highly durable.

Easy to clean and prepare feed

Each feeding bottle consists of only three components for easy cleaning. With protective cap for hygienic storage and transportation, parents can enjoy bonding and feeding their baby both indoor and outdoor at their convenience with total comfort. The dome cap seals the teat securely, to ensure leakproof mixing and travel without the need for separate sealing discs.

PES vs PP (PES or PP)

PES - Polyethersulfone material (usually of honey coloured tint with one-piece anti colic valve system). Its high quality means that it is heat-resistant, stain-resistant and impact resistant. Bottles made of this material are highly durable. With one-piece anti-colic feature, PES bottle has fewer parts and is therefore easier to clean.

PP - Polypropylene is a more plyable material (usually of slightly milky white transparent hue colour with two-pieces anti colic valve system). Philips AVENT Classic bottles made of this material come with an additional adaptor ring to ensure unique skirt on teat always fits the ring of the bottle, guaranteeing the anti-colic feature.

Maternal satisfaction in terms of ease of cleaning and assembly was significantly higher with the Philips AVENT Honey Tinted PES bottles as compared to the old classic bottles.
